The heart of
India, the state of Madhya Pradesh
lies in the center of the country on Tropic
of Cancer. Along with erstwhile Chhattisgarh
now separated it was the largest state in

The River Narmada originates from
Amarkantak and traverse vast distance
betwixt Vindhaya and Satpura
ranges finally merging into the Arabian Sea
at Bahruch in Gujarat. The Son River
also emerges from the mountains of
Amarkantak and merges into holy Ganga.
The state is

Chattris.
Jhansi: The
kingdom of Rani Laksmi bai the warrior queen
who fought for India’s independence.
Orchha: The royal
town of Orchha lies on the Betwa river and
is at a short distance from Jhansi. The main
attractions are temples, palaces, forts and
Chattris.
Hindi
is the main language spoken and English
usage is widespread for the comfort of the
tourists. Bhopal is the capital city and is
well connected. The road network spans
widely across the state and numerous hotels,
resorts and lodges provide ideal

according one’s budget. Law an Order
prevails in the state although caution is
advised in regions touching Uttar Pradesh
especially the Chambal region. Politically
